ship all orders immediately after payment has been received.
Indian orders take one to two weeks to be delivered after being
despatched to the post office. Airmail orders to the rest of
the world are likely to take anywhere upto a month to be delivered.
Surface mail usually takes about three months.
Credit card payments (facility available to customers outside India only) are
absolutely secure, etc.
Shipping rates:
Currently we ship books via AIRMAIL and SURFACE mail using the Indian Postal
Service.
- Ship rates to send books via AIRMAIL is 120% of Order Total.
- Ship rates to send books via SURFACE MAIL is 50% of Order Total.
In Addition, there is an 5.5% + 50 cents Service Fee applied on the Order Total
which is utilized to cover bank tranfer costs and transactions.

Returns
Other India Bookstore does not accept any returns
except in the following circumstances:
In those rarest of rare cases where there has been some error at our end, e.g.
the wrong books have been sent to you. In this case, let us know the details
at the earliest and please send back the books. We will cover your mailing
costs and replace the books.
Other India Bookstore cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by mishandling
by the postal system. Nevertheless, if a book reaches you in an irrevocably
damaged condition, please return the copy for replacement |
